At Ministries of Grace, we believe the Gospel is more than words on a page or a message preached on Sundays. It’s a call to live differently—to see people the way Jesus sees them, to love without limits, and to act on behalf of those who are hurting, hungry, or hopeless.
Christian nonprofits exist at the intersection of faith and service. They’re fueled by the belief that faith should move us—move us to compassion, to generosity, and to action. And when that happens, the Gospel becomes visible. It becomes something people can see, touch, and experience firsthand.

Serving Like Jesus
Jesus didn’t just talk about love. He lived it. He fed the hungry, healed the sick, welcomed children, touched the untouchable, and defended the overlooked. His life was a ministry of presence and power—and it’s the example we aim to follow every single day.
At Ministries of Grace, when we pack boxes of food or walk someone through a budgeting class or job application, we’re not just checking off a task list. We’re trying to love people the way Jesus did: with patience, dignity, and an open heart.
Walking Alongside, Not Just Providing Services
One of the biggest ways Christian nonprofits live out the Gospel is by staying in it for the long haul. We’re not just here to deliver a service and move on. We’re here to walk alongside people through ups and downs, to celebrate the wins and sit with them in the hard places.
When someone walks through our doors, we don’t see a number or a case file. We see a person with a name, a story, and God-given potential. And we show up again and again to remind them: you’re not alone.
The Power of Prayer and Presence
Sometimes faith in action means handing out groceries. Sometimes it means sitting with someone in silence while they cry. Other times, it means praying in the parking lot or rejoicing together over a job offer.
It’s about relationship, not transactions.
Because we’re a faith-based organization, prayer isn’t something we do as an afterthought. It’s a core part of who we are. It shapes our culture and guides our decisions. Before we load a truck or meet with a family, we pray. We ask God for wisdom, for strength, and for the right words.
We also believe in the ministry of presence. Just showing up consistently, without judgment, with a listening ear, is often the most powerful expression of the Gospel we can give.

Offering Hope Beyond Circumstances
One of the greatest gifts Christian nonprofits can offer is hope. Not a wishful, surface-level optimism—but a deep, unshakeable hope that comes from knowing that God is near and He is faithful.
That’s why, even when someone’s circumstances are hard, we continue to speak life over them. We remind them that they are seen, loved, and capable of building something new. We help them take the next step, no matter how small.
Sometimes, hope arrives through people like you.
Take the Johnson family, for example. They were living what many would call a picture-perfect life—a loving couple, two bright kids, a garden full of fresh vegetables, and stable careers. Then, one day, their world shifted in an instant. Mike, the father, collapsed in their garden and was later diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder that left him immobile.
Though treatment existed, the cost—$3,000 a month—was crushing, and insurance wouldn’t cover it in time. Sarah, his wife, worked overtime, sold produce, and stretched every dollar, but it wasn’t enough. As food became scarce, they turned to foraging and skipping meals just to keep their children fed. Their situation became desperate.
It was only when a concerned teacher overheard their daughter, Amber, talking about their empty pantry that a path forward emerged. The school social worker reached out, and Meals By Grace stepped in to help. We met Sarah in her vulnerability, her fear, and her overwhelming sense of shame. And through the loving support of our community, we reminded her: she wasn’t alone.
Today, the Johnsons are adjusting to their new reality with food on the table, treatment in progress, and peace knowing they are supported by people who care. People like you.
Romans 15:13 says, “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope…”
We want every person we serve to feel that overflow—to know that hope isn’t just an idea, it’s a reality we get to live and give.. Not a wishful, surface-level optimism—but a deep, unshakeable hope that comes from knowing that God is near and He is faithful.

A Community of Believers, Living on Mission
At Ministries of Grace, we are more than a nonprofit. We’re a community of believers saying yes to the Gospel call. That means loving our neighbors, lifting up the brokenhearted, and stepping into hard spaces with grace.
And we don’t do it alone. Volunteers, donors, and local churches form the foundation of everything we do. Whether it’s packing food, praying with families, or making a monthly gift, supporters like you make the mission possible. Your involvement helps us reach more families, offer more resources, and extend the love of Christ even further. We’re a community of believers saying yes to the Gospel call. It’s not always easy. But it is always worth it.
We believe that when people of faith come together to serve, pray, and give generously, something powerful happens. Lives are changed. Families are restored. And Jesus gets the glory.
