Built for the Journey Ahead
Our 2024–2027 Strategic Plan focuses on thOur 2024–2027 Strategic Plan focuses on three key areas of growth, each designed to amplify our ability to serve families with dignity, consistency, and compassion.
Capacity Building means strengthening the foundation of our ministry. We’re investing in technology, training, and infrastructure so we can operate with greater efficiency and scale. This includes expanding staff roles, enhancing volunteer systems, and streamlining logistics to meet needs faster and more effectively.
Community Empowerment focuses on equipping families with more than just emergency aid. We’re providing practical tools like job readiness programs, financial literacy workshops, and life skills training that help individuals move beyond crisis and into lasting stability. It’s about empowering people to take their next right step.
Collaborative Partnerships are at the heart of our growth. We’re working more closely with churches, local businesses, and fellow nonprofits to extend our reach and deepen our impact. By aligning resources and expertise, we create a stronger safety net for the communities we serve.
Together, these priorities position us to not only respond quickly to urgent needs, but to create long-term pathways to transformation.

Early Momentum, Real Results
Strategic planning isn’t about paper. It’s about people. And already, the results are visible in every corner of our ministry.
The Graceworks Training Center officially launched in 2024, becoming a vibrant hub for job readiness programs, digital literacy classes, and career coaching. This space isn’t just a building, it’s a launchpad where people move from crisis to stability through hands-on guidance and personalized support.
Our leadership team also grew in size and strength. By adding new roles focused on sustainability, strategic direction, and long-term planning, we’re not just reacting to needs; we’re anticipating them. This kind of foresight ensures we’re equipped to serve well into the future.
Meanwhile, our volunteer base expanded like never before. We not only increased participation but also set a new statewide record for service hours. More hands meant more impact, whether that was in the form of packed Break Bags, delivered groceries, or community outreach events.
This plan is alive, guiding real decisions that produce real transformation.
Planning With People in Mind
Behind every strategy are the stories of those we serve. We don’t just look at spreadsheets and KPIs. We listen to families. We observe what’s working. And we pray over every next step.
Because this isn’t about growing for the sake of growth. It’s about helping more people, more effectively, with more compassion.
