Churches with 150–500 members are often positioned right at the crossroads of influence and intimacy. They are big enough to rally significant resources, yet small enough that members feel personally connected to the mission. Our guide to nonprofit partnerships for churches explains how this balance makes mid-sized congregations ideal partners for nonprofits like Ministries of Grace.
When a mid-sized church steps into outreach, the effect is visible both in the community and in the pews. Projects are large enough to create momentum, but close enough to home that every person sees the fruit of their involvement.

The Process
Outreach thrives when there’s a clear rhythm. That’s why we’ve designed a simple flow that turns intention into action:
Your church kicks things off with a Sunday where a Ministries of Grace speaker shares the project vision. Families receive shopping lists so they know exactly what to bring in the following week. On Collection Sunday, those items are brought forward, creating a visible display of generosity in your altar or lobby.
But the impact doesn’t stop there. After service, everyone works together to load the Ministries of Grace truck and then travels to our facility. Members roll up their sleeves, sorting and shelving the very items they collected. The following Sunday, your congregation receives a celebration report, showing how their faith in action transformed lives.
What We Provide
We know churches already juggle countless responsibilities — preaching, discipleship, pastoral care, and the ongoing work of shepherding a congregation. Adding the planning, logistics, and follow-up of an outreach program can feel overwhelming. That is why our team steps in to carry the operational weight for you. When Ministries of Grace coordinates the details, your leaders are free to focus on what matters most: guiding your people spiritually, encouraging them in service, and celebrating the transformation that God brings through their faithfulness.
- Kick-off and follow-up speakers to inspire your congregation
- Shopping lists and collection coordination
- Transportation for all collected items
- A guided volunteer experience at our facility
- Detailed impact reporting to share results
- A “Come and See” invitation to participate in home delivery events
Every element is designed to remove barriers, making it easy for your congregation to engage fully in the mission.
