Support For Families In Need In Georgia

Every day, families fall through the cracks. Whether it’s due to red tape, income restrictions, or being just over the line for traditional assistance, many of our neighbors are left with nowhere to turn. That’s where Ministries of Grace steps in.

In 2024, our GAP services helped thousands of families who didn’t qualify for government or nonprofit programs but were still struggling to survive. These are parents working multiple jobs, seniors living on fixed incomes, and families hit hard by medical emergencies or rising costs. When the system said “no,” we said “yes.”

Meeting Families in the Gap

GAP families often face urgent needs with no backup plan. Ministries of Grace steps in with dignity-first support:

  • Groceries delivered to doorsteps
  • Hygiene kits for families without basics
  • Gas cards to help parents get to work
  • Help with utilities and housing crises

Our team doesn’t just meet needs. We build relationships. We listen, respond, and create a path forward. That kind of care makes all the difference when someone feels invisible.

Jonathan’s Story

Jonathan was a single father living in a borrowed trailer with his two young kids. After losing his job and falling behind on bills, he looked around and said, “You probably think I’m a failure.”

We didn’t.

Instead, we saw a dad doing everything he could. Ministries of Grace helped him with food, hygiene supplies, and temporary housing assistance. Our team supported him as he rebuilt his confidence, found new work, and continued to care for his children. Today, Jonathan is back on his feet and mentoring other dads facing similar challenges.
