Ministries of Grace began with a simple mission: make sure no family in North Georgia goes hungry. Since 2011, an army of donors, volunteers, and neighbors have come together to feed thousands of families in Forsyth and Dawson counties.
That mission has grown well beyond food. Today, Ministries of Grace walks alongside families with nutritious food, personalized support, and compassionate care—helping families move from surviving to thriving.
The goal has never changed: to bring food, hope, and transformation.
Steve and Suellen Daniels experience financial struggle and food insecurity. They learn about the food insecurity epidemic in North Georgia, especially for families with children.
2011
The Daniels partner with their local church and community to start delivering food to hungry families in the area.
2014
Fill Ministries is officially registered as a non-profit and work begins operating as Meals by Grace, including a client-choice pantry and weekly meal deliveries in Forsyth County.
2015
Meals by Grace rents its first warehouse to house food and weekly volunteer operations.
2017
Meals by Grace leases its second larger facility.
2021
Meals by Grace leases its current building at Keith Bridge Road housing its client-choice pantry, food and supplies warehouse, social services department and operational offices.
2023
Fill Ministries launches Ministries of Grace as its umbrella ministry over Meals by Grace.
